It is important for students and tutors to not only have a good understanding of the software that is used by their college / university or school, but also a good awareness of other really good free software that is available to them.

This section of the website contains information on some of the best free software around, complete with some short guides to using them.

I also have detailed links to using Microsoft Office 2007, which is an excellent piece of software and its new menu system offers a wealth of useability to even novice PC users. Some resources in this section have been created by myself, some parts are purely links to decent, vetted websites that offer the help that you may be looking for.
